Donald Sterling's girlfriend V. Stiviano said on Friday that the racist remarks of the LA Clippers owner were not the only type of conversations she has had with the embattled real estate mogul.

As the Associated Press reports, V. Stiviano appeared on ABC's "20/20" where she told Barbara Walters about the audio recording.

She was quoted as saying: ''There's been a number of occasions where Mr. Sterling and I had conversations just like this one. This was one of very many. Part of what the world heard was only 15 minutes. There's a number of other hours that the world doesn't know.''

The audio recording leaked by TMZ.com last week revealed that Sterling was discouraging Stiviano from posting photos of herself with black people online, or bring black people to Clippers games. It has led to a national backlash against Sterling, with the Clippers losing numerous sponsorships. On Tuesday, Sterling was banned for life, fined $2.5 million and faced the prospect of losing the team as NBA Commissioner Adam Silver encouraged league owners to force the 80-year-old to sell the team.

During the interview, Stiviano said she is Sterling's right-hand arm woman, confidante, bestfriend, and 'silly rabbit.'

However, Stiviano defended Sterling saying he is not a racist.

''I think Mr. Sterling is from a different generation than I am,'' she said. ''I think he was brought up to believe these things ... segregation, whites and blacks. But through his actions he's shown that he's not a racist. He's shown to be a very generous and kind man.''

She added that Sterling is traumatized from what has happened in the past week. ''I think he's highly more traumatized and hurt by the things that he said himself. I think he can't even believe or understand sometimes the thing he says, and I think he's hurt by it. He's hurting right now.''
