As the Donald Sterling saga continues with new developments that the league has put the voting process on the fast track, other reports are emerging on Sterling’s past disagreements with the NBA owners.

According to the Los Angeles Times' Nathan Fenno, the NBA was on the verge of trying to exile Sterling in the 1980’s after multiple disagreements. This situation, however, did not involve any racists comments, but more about business and the way Sterling handled himself to others.

A special committee of six NBA owners unanimously recommended Sterling’s removal in September 1982. Created after Sterling’s aborted attempt to relocate the franchise from San Diego to Los Angeles, the committee grew concerned about late payments by the Clippers to players, hotels, program printers and others...But much of the controversy revolved around an audiotape.

These reports are a circumstance considering people only just started digging into Sterling’s past and his previous affairs with the NBA. Looking at what we know from previous reports and alleged other racists incidents, it isn't out of the question that some NBA owners have wanted Sterling out for years. The rumors of the NBA owners voting 29-0 in favor of forcing Sterling to sell the team looks more likely by the day,

Many reports are emerging concerning Sterling since the start of this controversy and along with these recent reports, it has also been revelad that Sterling has prostate cancer. This story doesn’t look to be going anywhere anytime soon.
