At this point in his WWE career, it's hard not to feel sorry for perennial mid-carder Kofi Kingston. The latest news surrounding Kingston is that he has hit a career "milestone" of sorts when he suffered his 100th televised singles match loss to Bad News Barrett on WWE Main Event this past Tuesday 4/29/14.

What does this all mean? Let's find out.

According to North American Wrestling Rankings, Kofi Kingston is just the third wrestler to reach 100 losses in such fashion, joining Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger in achieving such a dubious distinction:

"When Kofi Kingston lost to Bad News Barrett on the 4/29/14 of it was his 100th televised singles loss! Kingston is just the 3rd wrestler to lose 100 matches [behind only Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger] and just the 2nd to register triple digits in wins AND loses [Ziggler being the first]. Others closing in on the century mark for losses as of 4/29/14 are: The Miz [94] and Zack Ryder [90]."

CB's Analysis: At least for Kofi Kingston's sake, he does have at least 100 singles wins to go with those losses. The interesting part of these statistics is that while Dolph Ziggler spent much of his career as a heel and Jack Swagger has always been a heel, Kofi is the only true babyface to this point to hit the 100 loss mark.

Granted, it's great that Kingston has had at least 200-plus televised singles matches on WWE TV, and obviously the number of scripted wins and losses doesn't really affect his paycheck. However, what this says to me is that for a very long time, both Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler were used to make other wrestlers look good in victory because of their abilities to carry others to good to great TV matches.

It would be nice if moving forward both Kingston and Ziggler start to get back on the winning side of things both on TV and in the WWE hierarchy, as they are both extremely capable of moving up the ladder.
