After the disbanding of Aces and Eights in TNA, former club member Knux (known as Mike Knox in WWE) has been on a journey back home to see his family. The promo packages of Knux going home have been featured on Impact Wrestling shows over the past few weeks, and new TNA rumors on Knux have been swirling since last Sunday's TNA Sacrifice PPV. The question is this: Is the Knux storyline a rip-off of WWE's Wyatt Family?

Leading up to the TNA Sacrifice PPV, the storyline surrounding Knux and his family is that he left his hometown behind in order to pursue his dream of having a successful professional wrestling career. While Knux was away, however, there was a huge flood in his hometown that has all but wiped out the family business.

When Knux finally does make it home, he surveys the damage and tells his ex-girlfriend / "Sister" he didn't realize things were this bad. Later on, Knux is seen having a talk with his old man as he tries to patch things up.

Knux winds up promising to stick around for a little while, but of course, he can't stay back home forever because he needs to get back to Impact Wrestling where he belongs. To the surprise of Knux, his ex-girlfriend says she is coming with him, which was the segment featured on last week's Impact:

However, the twist that was revealed at TNA Sacrifice is that the woman wants to bring the rest of the Carnival crew -- 'The Freak' and 'Crazy Steve' - right along with them when they come to Impact.

As a result of this big reveal, the speculation is that TNA just may be trying to rip off the Bray Wyatt / Wyatt Family characters with a wacky group of their own.

With names like 'The Freak' and 'Crazy Steve', that speculation is entirely valid, but I'll wait and see what happens with Knux and his family before rushing to any judgments.
