This impressive number comes at a time where any and every player is accused of being on PED’s in light of the MLB’s steroid era. I would raise the argument that PED’s will always be in sports, but the MLB seems to be entering the era of starting pitching. The MLB has always been a sport of eras, and all things considered it doesn't seem too farfetched to think that the next chapter in MLB history would be that of the dominance of it's star pitchers and not all about the bats.
