Two clubs in the bottom half of the Liga MX table will do battle today in a league match between Chivas Guadalajara and Monterrey. The first-division clash scheduled for 6 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Omnilife in Guadalajara and can be live streamed free through Univision Deportes mobile.

Though Chivas Guadalajara enter today's match with a possibility of clinching a playoff spot, manager Ricardo La Volpe is more concerned with avoiding relegation in future tournaments. Capturing three points at home is of the utmost importance for the newly appointed manager (h/t to Goal). "We should worry about winning three points," La Volpe said.

"Additionally, we shouldn't be interested [in anything else] because we are prepared to win," he added.

"I believe these points are important so this Guadalajara is in the next tournament."
