Today at 3:30 p.m. ET the Los Angeles Clippers, up two games to one on the Golden State Warriors in their Round 1 NBA Playoffs matchup, will try to set aside the whirlwind created by their allegedly racist owner to put the series in a stranglehold. Clippers owner Donald Sterling is in boiling water after a tape of him spouting off racist comments to his girlfriend regarding Magic Johnson and minorities in general leaked on the internet. An investigation is pending regarding the audio's authenticity, but the Clippers must push through after initial thoughts of possibly boycotting Game 4 were discussed.

Head coach Doc Rivers has clearly been offended and angered by the distraction, and let reporters know on Saturday. "The fact that I had to spend 45 minutes in a meeting instead of watching film did not make me happy," Rivers said.

"For me, I want to focus on my guys. I came here for them. They came here for each other. Our goals have not changed. It's like one of the players said, 'Hey, when I was a kid, I had a goal to win a world championship. It was to do that. It wasn't to win a world championship for someone.'"

Rather than focus on Sterling, they'll turn their attention to Stephen Curry, whom they've held to 18 points per game through three games, six below his season average. "We're playing Golden State, and Golden State is our enemy right now," Rivers said. "That's where we're going to keep it, and that's where we want to keep it."
