Did LeBron James glance at Hall of Famer and Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan while on the way to a break-away dunk during the second half of game 3 of the Miami Heat-Charlotte Bobcats playoff series?

With the Heat comfortably up 66-49 in the third quarter, James stole the ball from Bobcats forward Josh McRoberts and sped towards their court for a breakaway slam. But as he took off, he noticeably looked towards the Bobcats bench and as ESPN's commentators speculated, towards Jordan who was cheering on his team.

After the game which the Heat easily won, 98-85, James denied staring down at Jordan, who also happens to be his childhood idol. As quoted by Ball Don't Lie of Yahoo! Sports, James answered a reporter's question on whether he glanced at the Bobcats owner: " Naw, don't start that. Absolutely not, man. Absolutely not. I was able to read McRoberts, get a steal and push the lead back up. I absolutely didn't look at M.J., for sure."

Still, James was all business in this game, registering 30 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as the Heat totally dominated the Bobcats and take a commanding 3-0 series lead. No NBA team has successfully come back from a 0-3 series deficit. Dwyane Wade ably backed up James with 17 points six assists and three rebounds for the Heat, which have won 19 consecutive games over the Bobcats.

''You don't want a series to go longer than it needs to,'' head coach Erik Spoelstra told AP.
