Will AJ Lee and CM Punk return to WWE? That is the burning question on everyone's minds now that AJ Lee joined CM Punk on leave from the company, but we have an update on both of them plus a new Kevin Nash interview on why CM Punk left WWE in the first place.

According to reports, AJ Lee is rumored to make her WWE return in time for WWE's tour of Europe in mid-May. The former Divas Champion is also advertised for WWE live events in June after returning from overseas.

Before taking her leave of absence to join CM Punk, the original plan for AJ Lee at the Extreme Rules 2014 PPV was that she was going to have a rematch with Paige for the Divas Championship. That slot is now filled by Tamina Snuka, who was Lee's friend and enforcer.

As for CM Punk, Kevin Nash had a recent interview where the subject of Punk's possible return to WWE was brought up. Unlike AJ Lee, there is no timetable for Punk's return, and Nash said that it is unlikely that CM Punk would ever come back because of all of the injuries he suffered while working the independent circuit before even making it to WWE.

Specifically, Kevin Nash stated, "The thing is, you know, Phil's not a small guy but he's not a big guy either. And he's one of the guys, he takes a lot of punishment on a nightly basis." He then added, "We were in the trainer's room and we were talking. I just asked him what his condition was. He really hadn't even had an MRI at that point. I think he's gotten an MRI since then and I think he's got some degeneration in his lower back."

Kevin Nash also said that CM Punk does not live a luxurious lifestyle and his ability to save money would be another reason why a Punk return to WWE is not likely or at least necessary. Said Nash, "You know, he's not one of those guys that's going to have 15 cars. He's one of those simple guys."

He then finished this point on CM Punk by stating, "At some point he probably saved $4 or 5 million. Really, if it's in a Lincoln National Fund with a five-percent return you don't need much more than that. I'm sure he's smart, he's a smart guy. I'm sure he's looked at it."
