Rovell posted an offensive tweet Monday night, poking fun at a Chicago Bulls fan in the front row. After much backlash from the good people of Twitter, Rovell deleted the tweet and posted an apology before starting his Twitter silence.

Darren Rovell Reports A Kid Who Made Of Him

Its becoming more and more commonplace for people to understand that Rovell is a terrible sport when it comes to social media and his own image, but this one might be the one that broke the camel's back with ESPN. The company hasn't commented on the tweet and is in the process of speaking with Rovell, but ESPN has silenced their talent on social media before.

Bill Simmons was suspended from Twitter for a handful of days in March 2013 for negative comments toward ESPN's First Take.

ESPN doesn't keep up the suspension for long, but we have to assume they send a message to the persons involved because Simmons never stepped out of line on social media again. If ESPN has finally stepped in and punished Rovell, it has been a long time coming and Rovell is finally getting the internet justice that he himself has delivered on several occasions. Hopefully this teaches Rovell a lesson.
