Tim Tebow has even bigger things on his mind than resurrecting his NFL career.

The former NFL vet and Heisman Trophy winner is set to open a state-of-the-art, 17-bed capacity hospital near his Philippine homeland over the next several months by funding at least 70 percent of the $3.5 million charity facility through his Tebow Foundation.

GlobalNation.Inquirer.Net reports that the Tebow Cure Hospital is now approximately 97 percent complete and hospital executive director Leron Lehman pronounces the recruitment for about 45 to 50 staffers as onging.

The facility is slated to treat kids with conditions ranging from cleft lip/palate, untreated burns, clubfoot, bowed legs and other physical birth defects. The hospital will also feature private clinics, outpatient labs and quarters for spiritual ministry.

"There are a lot of disabled children here in Mindanao and there are a bunch of reasons why their families do not seek medical help," Tebow, the son of an American-missionary parents, told GlobalNet."They are poor and cannot afford surgery or transportation. But, you know healing changes everything."

Through it all, the 26-year-old Tebow is also keeping an eye on making his NFL comeback, recently telling NFL.com "I feel like I'm the best that I've ever been as a quarterback right now, and I hope I get the opportunity to show that."
