Miami police will soon meet with attorneys for accused NFL star Colin Kaepernick after surveillance video thus far retrieved from the hotel where a 25-year past sexual acquaintance claims she was sexually assaulted does not place him at the scene.

The Sacramento Bee reports investigators now suspect the San Francisco 49ers star quarterback was not at the Viceroy Hotel at the time a pair of 911 calls were placed, but are still combing through other footage in hopes of determining if he had been there at all and if so when he may left.

Fellow NFL players Quinton Patton and Ricardo Lockette have also been named as having been at the scene of the incident and earlier this week Harlem-born hip hop artist Teyana Taylor angrily denied reports she might be the woman lodging the allegations.

The 25-year-old alleged victim told police she went back to the hotel with the three men and they spent much of the night drinking and smoking marijuana. She further alleges that she and Kaepernick, whom she admits she had a previous sexual relationship with, later went into a bedroom together where they kissed and she undressed before blacking out. From there, she alleges only remembering waking up in the Jackson Memorial Hospital emergency room.

Colin Kaepernick investigated for sexual assault

Kaepernick and Taylor are reported to have once been dating and just a few weeks before the April 1 incident were spotted vacationing together in South Beach.

Authorities say the alleged victim has since undergoing a rape test and they are also awaiting the results of a toxicology report performed on her.

While no charges have been filed, investigators this week are expected to release the audio from the 911 calls made that night. In one of the calls, The Bee reports a male voice believed to that of Lockette tells police the nude woman was refusing to leave until "the player she came to see returns."
