Two clubs in the top half of the Serie A table will do battle today in a league match between Napoli and Lazio. The first-division clash scheduled for 9 a.m. ET will be held at the Stadio San Paolo in Napoli and can be live streamed here free.
Still fighting for European qualification, Lazio enter today's match trailing Parma by two points in the Serie A table. According to former manager Eugenio Fascetti, the motivation behind reaching sixth place could prove to be momentous enough for the club to capture a victory on Sunday (h/t to Football Italia). "It will be a very intense weekend," Fascetti said to Radio Marte. "Inter have a tough trip to Genoa to play Sampdoria and Fiorentina play Verona. A positive result for [Andrea] Mandorlini's boys could put the Viola under pressure for the rest of the season," he added.
"Thinking about Sunday's match, at the moment Lazio have more motivation."
"They are having a good period and the fact they have a serious target to go for could play a decisive role in the outcome of the match."
