The wife of rap star French Montana is warning reality TV star Khloe Kardashian to "be careful" as rumors of a romance between the two continues to pick up steam.

According to RadarOnline.com, Deen Kharbouch voiced her concerns after Montana and the estranged wife of NBA veteran Lamar Odom were seen earlier this week visiting a number of L.A. strip clubs together.

After Lamar Odom break up, Khloe Kardashian vows to find love

"Things are not as they seem," Kharbouch, who has been married to the rap star for seven years, told Radar, adding the rapper left her and their four-year-old son in 2012 after his career took off.

"As soon as he popped, it was as if Kruz and I didn't exist," she added. "He practically abandoned us. Sometimes we don't see him for two or three months."

Though Kharbouch concedes Montana now pays $7,000 a month in child support, she insists she had to go to court to get it.

Radar adds family members and friends of the 29-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star are also expressing reservations about her latest apparent love interest. The website reports Montana was shot in the head in 2004, only to be later be charged with murder in connection with the incident, prompting him to boast in a rap song he ultimately beat the case "cause I'm good."

According to Radar, Montana also flaunts his drug connections in his mixtapes under the record label Cocaine city Records.

Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom last December, citing irreconcilable differences.
