GIANTS vs DIAMONDBACKS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: 2014 MLB Opening Day Live Coverage Arizona

Tonight at 9:40 p.m. ET, the San Francisco Giants (0-0) open their season against the Arizona Diamondbacks (0-2) live from Chase Field in Arizona. The game can be live streamed here. San Francisco fans can hear all of the action on KNBR 680 while Arizona fans can do the same on Arizona Sports 98.7.

Madison Bumgarner takes the hill for the Giants after going 13-9 with a 2.77 ERA in 2013 while Brandon McCarthy mans the mound for the Diamondbacks after posting a 5-11 record last season with a 4.53 ERA.

McCarthy is happy to take the ball for Arizona to open things up.

"It's a cool opportunity. For the fans, it's their first chance to get out and see you guys again," McCarthy said via MLB.com. "There's always a lot of atmosphere there; it's kind of the closest you get to a playoff atmosphere in the regular season until the season starts drawing to an end. It'll be fun."

Bumgarner will make his first-career Opening Day start after being the Giants best and most consistent starter last season.

"You think about it once you get into pro baseball," the 24-year-old told MLB.com. "That's something you'd like to have the opportunity to do."

The Diamondbacks look to make the playoffs this season for the first time in two years while the Giants look to recover from a World Series hangover that riddled them last year as they missed the playoffs after earning the 2012 World Series trophy.

Arizona dropped its first two games this season with back-to-back losses to the Dodgers in Australia. The team will look to put those losses behind them and win their home opener while the Giants look to spoil the party.

"The reality is, we lost two games here," said new left fielder Mark Trumbo, who hit a two-run homer in Game 2, according to MLB.com.

Trumbo hit .234 last year with the Los Angeles Angels along with 34 homers and 100 RBI.

Trumbo will be in the heart of the order which is anchored by first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, who tied for the league lead with 36 homers and paced the NL with 126 RBI last season while hitting .302.

Buster Posey and Pablo Sandoval anchor the Giants lineup and will look to bring the team back to prominence.

Two NL West division rivals go at it when the Giants and Diamondbacks clash at Chase Field tonight in Arizona.
