Two clubs in the top half of the German Bundesliga table will do battle today in a league match between Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich. The first-division clash scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Information on how and where to stream the match live can be found here.
History awaits Bayern Munich ahead of today's confrontation with Berlin. The Bavarian giants are one victory away from sealing their 24th league title after playing just 26 matches. They would be the first-ever side to lift the Meisterschale in March. Taking nothing for granted, manager Pep Guardiola is eager to get the celebrations started (h/t to the Bundesliga's official website). "The sooner we win the league, the better," said the former FC Barcelona coach at his pre-match press conference. "But it's no foregone conclusion that we'll win it tomorrow. We can win it against Hoffenheim and we can win it in Augsburg. We still have plenty of time," he added.
"It's my job [to make sure the players are ready for the game]. If they are, we might have time to celebrate afterwards. It's another game, it's Hertha. Of course we'll win the Bundesliga, but we have a game to play on Tuesday and we have to play well.
"For me, the Bundesliga's the most important title [to win]."
