Two clubs in opposite conferences of MLS will do battle today in a league match between the Montreal Impact and Seattle Sounders. The first-division clash scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal and can be live streamed here.
Originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, today's inter-conference clash between Montreal and Seattle was postponed due to heavy snowfall and frigid temperatures. With an extra day to prepare, Impact midfielder Patrice Bernier has decided to look back and emphasize the importance of today's match (h/t to Olivier Tremblay on MLS's official website). "The first time was the first game at Stade Saputo, so the stakes were special," midfielder Patrice Bernier told reporters on Thursday. "The second time was rather difficult, we won 1-0 and it was a game that we managed well defensively while taking advantage of the few chances we got. It's going well, and we want to keep this going," he added.
"We only face them once a season, so if we can keep the winning streak going against them, it'll be done until next year."

Player to Watch: With the Seattle Sounders' Clint Dempsey facing a two-match ban for his violent conduct against Toronto FC, head coach Sigi Schmid is projected to feature a striker partnership atop his formation.
