The inmate reported to have been attacked and savagely beaten by Aaron Hernandez while still handcuffed does not want to testify against the former New England Patriots tight end.
TMZ Sports reports Andrew Booker, 25, does not want to "be a rat," and therefore has told his attorney he does want to testify against Hernandez who faces assault charges stemming from the February attack.

Several media outlets have reported the incident took place after the two men got into a verbal dispute that continued to escalate, even though both men were being held in a confined area of the Bristol County Jail.
The 24-year-old Hernandez remains jailed and held without bail in the execution-style killing of 27-year-old one-time associate Odin Lloyd, whose bullet-riddled body was found less than a mile from Hernandez's North Attleborough mansion in June of 2013.
According to TMZ, Booker was taken into custody last September on drug and weapon charges. At the time of his arrest, the website reports he was found to be carrying a loaded revolver and a bag of cocaine.

Michael Maloney, Booker's attorney, told TMZ his client suffered cuts, bruises and scrapes in the attack by Hernandez and is now considering taking legal action against the Bristol county Sheriff's Department.
"He's really disturbed he was allowed to be put in that situation" said Maloney.
