ESPN’s Andy Katz has had the honor of going pick by pick with POTUS since he was elected into office. Obama’s bracket is littered with favorites and very few upsets, but the POTUS acknowledged his top heavy bracket.

"Tom Izzo is a great tournament coach. I’ve got Michigan State going all the way. He know how to motivate folks and he knows how to coach. My pick: Michigan State. Bring it home for me. It's been a while since I've won my pool.”

Obama has had some success in recent years at selecting his brackets and ranked No. 2,080,996 out of 8.15 million entries in ESPN’s Bracket Challenge, slotting him in the 74.4th percentile (via ESPN). When asked about what he would do with Warren Buffet’s $1 billion challenge money he responded “ I’m sure people would tell me to pay down the federal debt and Michelle (Obama) would want a few shoes”.
