Two clubs in opposite halves of the Liga MX table will do battle today in a league match between Queretaro and Toluca. The first-division clash scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Corregidora in Queretaro and can be live streamed here. Additional TV coverage can be found on ESPN Deportes.

Queretaro enter today’s match amid turmoil and distress, and it’s not due to the club’s current standing in the Liga MX table (17th). Los Gallos Blancos were seized by Mexican authorities this week due to fraud and a money laundering investigation into Oceanografia, the company owned by Queretaro owner Amado Yáñez. According to ESPN Deportes, Yáñez is accused of diverting and laundering $585 million.

Add to that just 10 points through 10 matches for Los Gallos Blancos, and the club is facing serious crisis. Will they continue to spiral out of control, or will this great shame unify the players on the pitch ahead of today’s encounter with second-place Toluca?
