FC BASEL vs. SV SALZBURG Live Stream Online: 2014 UEFA Europa League, Live Coverage From Basel, Projected Lineups and TACTICAL PREVIEW

Two clubs chasing UEFA Europa League glory will do battle today in a cup match between FC Basel and SV Salzburg. The Round of 16 clash scheduled for 2 p.m. ET will be held at St. Jakob Park in Basel and can be live streamed here.

FC Basel continued into the Round of 16 after defeating Israeli outfit Maccabi Tel Aviv 3-0 on aggregate in the previous round. This is hardly the European ambition the Swiss club had after defeating Chelsea in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, but that hasn't hindered Basel's form. Even though the tournament is known for carrying less-worthy European opponents, Basel midfielder Valentin Stocker isn’t ready to overlook today's competition (h/t to UEFA’s official website). “Now we have Salzburg. We know [fellow Swiss] Christian Schwegler plays for them and I know they have invested a lot because they want to be successful in European football,” Stocker said. “Against Ajax, they showed they are getting there,” he added.

“In terms of international experience we have the edge, but this won't necessarily win us the tie because we are two evenly matched teams.”

Will FC Basel’s experience lead them to victory at St. Jakob Park, or wil SV Salzburg continue to be a darkhorse in Europe? Tell us @SportsWN
