Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the New York Rangers (35-26-4, 74 points) and Carolina Hurricanes (27-28-9, 63 points) faceoff live from the PNC Arena for the third of four meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. New York fans can hear all of the action on 98.7 ESPN Radio while Carolina fans can do the same on 99.9 The Fan.

New York kicks off a three-game road trip sitting in second place in the Metropolitan Division while Carolina enters play in 13th place in the Eastern Conference. The Rangers have beaten the Hurricanes twice thus far this season, notching a 5-1 win on Nov. 2 in New York then a 4-2 victory this past Friday in North Carolina.

The Rangers enter play in search of their third straight win.

"I think as a group we are getting better and better, and as the season goes on we're going to have to be even better because the games are not going to get any easier with teams fighting to get into the playoffs," Derek Stepan said via NHL.com.

The Hurricanes are coming off of a 5-4 loss to the New Jersey Devils in overtime Sunday that saw the team rally from a 4-1 deficit only to fall.

"Everyone stayed positive," defenseman Ryan Murphy said per NHL.com. "We're getting to the point in the year where these points are very critical and we can't be giving up points like that, so everyone was staying positive in the dressing room and we did a good job of getting back into the game but unfortunately came up short."

Eric Staal (16-33-49), Jeff Skinner (25-17-42) and Andrej Sekera (11-28-39) lead the Hurricanes this season while new import Martin St. Louis (29-33-62), Brad Richards (16-29-45) and Mats Zuccarello (15-29-44) have the most points on the Rangers along with Stepan (11-33-44).

Henrik Lundqvist will likely suit up between the pipes for New York after notching his 300th career win on Sunday, and is 24-20-4 with a 2.50 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage. He'll likely be opposed by Anton Khudobin, who is 14-9-0 with a 2.31 GAA and a .925 save percentage.

The Rangers and Hurricanes hit the ice at the PNC Arena tonight in North Carolina for their third of four meetings this season.
