LeBron James has flexed his superstar muscle to help land one of his boyhood friends rap song on the new NBA 2K14 soundtrack.

According to TMZ Sports, boyfriend friend Sian Cotton, who has been "having rap sessions" with The King since they were nine-years-old, is set to release Almost Home on the 2K14 soundtrack.

"I'd been submitting my stuff to 2K, and then I found out LeBron was gonna be on the cover," Cotton told the website. He added he had planned to "hit James up" to ask for a recommendation, but when he grabbed his phone he already had a text from James stating "'I wanna get you on the game."

Cotton later marveled "he thought of me before I could say anything." He added James has always been supportive of his rap career and he will now soon release a new album.

"He said 'the people from '14 have been calling you,'" Cotton said of James. "They picked your song."

With James and the Heat chasing the league's first three-peat in nearly two decades, TMZ adds there is no word on if James might be open to making a cameo on the album.
