Is Mandy Capristo responsible for Mesut Özil's recent dip in form?

According to Opta stats (h/t to Sky Sports), Arsenal and Everton have only met three times before in the history of the FA Cup (1910, 1928 and 1981). Arsenal's sole victory over the Toffees came in 1928. Everton currently have the edge, winning the other two contests, including the latest installment in 1981. The Toffees also have the advantage of being one of only three clubs to score a goal at the Emirates in the last 13 domestic matches.

Both sides have been marred with injuries all season, but could be one step closer to capturing some much-needed hardware in 2014.

Tactical Preview

Player to Watch: Roberto Martinez had glowing words for his left-back Leighton Baines following his call-up to the English national team (h/t Yahoo! Sport UK). "I think the full-back position is the most demanding in world football," Martinez said. "You need to be able to defend in a unit, one v one, and full-backs are probably the players who can dislodge defensive set-ups and become vital in your attacking play," he added.

"We are blessed with the qualities we have. Leighton [Baines] has been playing really well of late and it was a great opportunity for the England manager to see other options and we are delighted he was rested and can carry on preparing for the game"

Arsenal's Projected Lineup 4-2-3-1: Fabianski; Sagna, Mertersacker, Varmaelen, Gibbs; Arteta, Flamini; Chamberlain, Özil, Cazorla; Sanogo

Everton's Projected Lineup 4-2-3-1: Howard; Baines, Distin, Stones, Coleman; Barry, McCarthy; Pienaar, Osman, Mirallas; Lukaku
