Terrell Owens broke? Former NFL star gets reduced child support payments in exchange for increased visitation? [VIDEO]

Former NFL star Terrell Owens has reached agreement with the mother of one of children that allows him to cut monthly child support payments by up to $250 if he will simply visit his child at least once a month.

According to TMZ Sports.com, Owens just reached agreement with the woman, identified as Melanie Smith, who the website reports strongly believes their daughter can benefit from a close relationship with her father.

The website adds Owen's currently pays in the neighborhood of $2,250 per month to the woman, one of four women he has reportedly had children with out of wedlock,even though he has long claimed he has been enduring financial hardship since not being picked up by an NFL team.

TMZ adds further details of the agreement call for Owens to spend at least six hours with per month with the child, and only allows him to use the visit deduction three times a year.

Despite now being 40 years old and having last played in the NFL several seasons ago, Owens continues to openly campaign for another shot at playing in the league and insists he remains physically able to compete at a high level.
