Johnny Manziel Height: Heisman winner declares he'll play like '10 feet tall' [VIDEO]

Heisman winner Johnny Manziel says he is ready for the NFL despite being measured shorter than most NFL quarterbacks, arguing that he plays will a lot of passion and heart.

During the NFL draft combine in Indianapolis on Friday, Manziel was measured at 5-foot-11 ¾ and 207 pounds. He also declared that despite falling short in height, via ESPN.com: "I play with a lot of heart, I play with a lot of passion, I feel like I play like I'm 10 feet tall. Those measurements to me are just a number."

Manziel will meet a couple of teams on Saturday including the Houston Texans which hold the number one overall pick in the May draft.

He also acknowledged his notoriety for being immature that earned him the nickname Johnny Football, promising to work hard and behave well for whichever team that picks him. He said: "This is a job. There's guys with families, coaches with families, with all kinds of things on the line. For me, it's nothing new. It won't be a hard thing to kick. I'm just going to focus on whatever organization I'll be at, just pouring my heart out trying to be football 24-7 with that team."

He likewise shot down rumors that he had gone to alcohol abuse and anger management counseling. ESPN.com quoted him as saying: "I don't believe those are true. After last spring, Coach [Kevin] Sumlin kind of came to me and said, 'Hey, we have an in-house guy we want you to sit down and meet with.' I was more than happy and willing to learn whatever I could from him. I could sit down and have meetings with him, and those continued throughout the next couple years. Had a great relationship with him."
