Michael Strahan Warren Sapp Feud: Sapp Insists Strahan 'Coward' Comment Too Beef Beyond Hall Of Fame Resume [VIDEO]

Warren Sapp insists he isn't the one that made his ongoing dispute with Michael Strahan personal, all the while hurling insults at his former NFL peer.

All week long leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII, Sapp and Strahan have engaged in a public spat stemming from Hall of Famer Sapp's insistence that Strahan is not deserving of such distinction. The NFL Hall of Fame is set to announce its latest inductees this weekend and Strahan is one of the finalist.

"He took it to a level that it didn't need to be," Sapp told USA TODAY Sports of being called a "coward" and a "sheep" by Strahan. "I was just talking about his resume. I didn't say anything about his gap tooth or his S words or his F words that I don't understand. What the hell is he saying? So if he wants to go personal we can go personal, but I was just stacking his resume against the class."

Sapp later told USA TODAY "he only has four straight Pro Bowls and a mythical sack record." In truth, both Sapp and Strahan appeared in seven Pro Bowls and Strahan never played in four straight. Both now TV personalities and NFL analysts, Sapp and Strahan were both named All-Pros four times each.
