Peyton Manning Press Conference: Denver Broncos Quarterback Responds to Richard Sherman, 'Throw Touchdown Ducks' [VIDEO]

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is unfazed by Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman's recent comments questioning his arm strength, after the NFL interceptions leader said the Broncos star throws 'ducks.'

Writing for a column on TheMMBQ.com, Sherman listed Manning as the smartest quarterback in the game. Despite the lofty ranking he gave to his opponent, the Seattle star had one criticism of Manning.

"His arm, however, is another story. His passes will be accurate and on time, but he throws ducks."

On Thursday, Manning responded to the Seattle star's comments and reminded him how his 'ducks' have made him successful throughout his career. "I believe it to be true," he said as quoted by NY Daily News. "He's a smart player. I don't think that's a real reach what he's saying there. I do throw ducks. I throw a lot of yards and touchdowns ducks, so I'm actually quite proud of it."

His teammates also defended Manning's passes, citing his impressive track record that he is bringing to MetLife Stadium on Sunday for Super Bowl XLVIII with the goal of becoming the only quarterback to win the championship game with two franchises.

Cornerback Champ Bailey mentioned that the quarterback threw 55 touchdowns this season. "He's throwing ducks like that and still throwing 55 touchdowns? I'll take the ducks any day." His teammate, tight end Julius Thomas, agreed with him, saying: "Whichever animal or word you want to use to describe Peyton's passes, I'll take them every day. Whether that be duck, goose, cat passes, I'll continue taking them."
