SUNDERLAND vs STOKE CITY Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Barclays Premier League Live Coverage from Stadium of Light England

Today at 2:45 pm. ET, Sunderland and Stoke City go head-to-head in Barclays Premiere League action live from Stadium of Light in England. The game can be live streamed here.

Sunderland head coach Gus Poyet addressed rumors of Stoke City having interest in Lee Cattermole and Steven Fletcher ahead of his teams matchup with them this afternoon.

"I am pleased that in the local newspaper, we didn't throw any rumours about us being interested in any Stoke player, because that's what they have done for the last week, Poyet said via ESPN. "No one from Stoke, directors or anyone from them, has made any formal approach or any offer, so for them to be linked with two very important players for us before the game is a little bit disappointing."

Stoke City coach Mark Hughes has been rumored as wanting to acquire Cattermole in recent weeks.

"He [Hughes] didn't call me. Some people would say the manager normally would call to say when they want a player of the other team," Poyet said via ESPN. "But he didn't call me, of that I can assure you."

Cattermole's future with the club remains cloudy with Sunderland's interest in Brighton midfielder Liam Bridcutt, who had a transfer request refused with just three days in the transfer window remaining. Poyet also believes he's close to landing Argentinian striker Ignacio Scocco ahead of Friday's deadline.

Sunderland is coming off of a 1-0 FA Cup victory over Kidderminster on Saturday that saw Poyet institute 10 changes, but he'll likely return to his normal lineup for today's game.

Today may mark the debut of Peter Odemwingie at Sunderland.

"Maybe in the past few months I didn't get too many goalscoring opportunities, but I am sure that will change here at Stoke, he said per ESPN.  "One of my strongest qualities is being able to put the ball into the back of the net, with either my right foot or my left foot, and I intend on doing that regularly here."
