Tim Tebow News: Bears, Brown And Vikings Interested In Having Former Florida Star In Training Camp? [VIDEO]

An anonymous NFL GM said he thinks out-of-work quarterback Tim Tebow could have as many as three training camp invites from teams this offseason.

According to Sports World Report, Tebow, who last played for the New England Patriots before being cut in training camp, could garner interest from the Bears, Vikings and Browns. The website adds Tebow has a past relationship with Bears coach Marc Trestman that could bold well for him.

Meanwhile, former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer is also telling anyone who will listen that Tebow is a much different signal-caller from the one Bill Belichick cut as Tom Brady's would-be backup during the last preseason. Tebow and Dilfer now work together as ESPN football analysts.

Tebow played three NFL seasons, with his best year coming with Denver in 2011 when he passed for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns. The Broncos finished 7-4 in games started by Tebow that season and knocked off the Steelers in the playoffs, but after acquiring Peyton Manning the team dealt Tebow to the New York Jets, where he lasted just one season.

Former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum recently told the media the team's decision to acquire the former Florida Heisman Trophy winner was a "mistake." Tebow played on two national championship teams while at Florida, including the 2008 season when led the Gators to a 12-1 finish as the starting signal caller.
