Michelle Beadle Headed Back To ESPN, SportsNation Show? [VIDEO]

Michelle Beadle is leaving NBC Sports and headed back to ESPN.

According to Sports Illustrated, Beadle is set to walk away from her dual role as a NBC Sports host and Access Hollywood correspondent to return to the network where she garnered her most success as host of SportsNation.

Beadle left ESPN for NBC in May 2012 and upon her return is expected to host or co-host a New York-based show with another ESPN talent. SI also reports there is a chance Beadle could again appear on SportsNation, though her official restart date with the network is uncertain. Beadle can officially leave NBC Sports in early March.

The Crossover show NBC created for Beadle was canceled less than a year after launching amid perennially low ratings. Before the network officially pulled the plug on the show Beadle expressed dismay over what she termed its lack of promotion.

The move may have caught NBC officials somewhat by surprise as even after the cancellation of her show network leaders told Sports Illustrated "we expect her to remain a part of the shows she's done for us in the past such as Breeders' Cup and Triple crown horse racing, and potentially adding some other assignments within the our sports and entertainment properties."
