DeMarcus Cousins Made Obscene Gesture At Memphis Grizzlies Fan? [VIDEO]

Sacramento Kings veteran center DeMarcus Cousins is refusing to comment on reports he made an obscene gesture to a heckling fan during Friday night's 91-90 road loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

According to USA TODAY Sports, Cousins was being mercilessly heckled by a Grizzlies' fan to pass the ball midway through the second half when, according to two eyewitnesses, he turned toward the lower concourse and allegedly grabbed his crotch while shouting expletives at the fan.

After the game, the 23-year-old Cousins, who recently signed a four-year, $62 million extension to be the face of the Kings and is credited with being a growing pillar in Sacamento community, declined to address the matter when approached by reporters.

USA TODAY adds team officials never reported the incident to league officials and it apparently was not captured on video. Known as somewhat of a hot-head, Cousins leads the league in technicals with 10 (tied with Blake Griffin) and had a league-leading 148 fouls going into Saturday's actions.

Eskimo.com, which tracks NBA palyer fines, reports that over the last four seasons there have been eight fan-based fines in the NBA with Dwight Howard, Joakim Noah, Caron Butler, Steve Blake, Glen Davis, Chris Wilcox and Ivan Johnson all netting fines for various infractions.
