Michael Vick Return to Atlanta? Free-Agent Vick Says He'd Consider Playing for Falcons [VIDEO]

Michael Vick says he wouldn't have a problem being the quintessential judge of whether the adage, "You can't go home again," is true.

CSNPhilly.com reported that Vick, whose hamstring injuries in 2013 paved the way for Nick Foles to become the starting quarterback in Philadelphia and lead the Eagles to the NFL East crown, believes he will be playing somewhere in 2014.

"I don't worry about it," Vick said, according to CSNPhilly.com. "My skill set is still there, my arm is still there, my legs are still there, I'm still a playmaker, that's evident. I think at some point, I'll be playing somewhere."

Vick, a free agent who will be 34 when the 2014 season starts, has never lacked for confidence, but it was a tweet reported by USA TODAY Sports' For the Win that shows how badly Vick wants to play again.

A Twitter follower with the log-in name @Champ_1021 asked Vick, "if you had a chance would you go back to Atlanta?"

Tow which Vick tweeted back," Maybe later in my career RT". Well, it is later in his career, and if Vick is proving an adage, it may instead be "I'll go where the job takes me."

Vick has been back to Atlanta in a football jersey once - with the Eagles in 2011 - since he was indicted on federal felony charges in April of 2007 for his involvement in a dogfighting ring. Vick served 21 months in prison.

CSNPhilly.com reported that since the start of the 2009 season, Vick's passer rating of 87.9 is higher than that of Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Carson Palmer, Cam Newton and Andrew Luck. Vick still is the NFL's all-time leading rusher among quarterbacks.

The Falcons have their own problems after a surprising porous 4-12 season in 2013. Adding Vick mostly likely would be as a backup to starter Matt Ryan and not worth the headache to the team.

CBSSports.com reported that the most logical destination spots for Vick - that is, the franchises in need of a starting quarter back - are the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans.

Vick told CSNPhilly.com that he would be open to returning to Philadelphia as a backup to Foles if he can't find a starting job.
