Jameis Winston Civil Suit? Heisman Winner, National Champion Sued By Rape Accuser? [VIDEO]

The woman who accused Florida State star quarterback Jameis Winston of sexual assault now plans to file a civil suit against the 19-year-old Heisman Trophy winner.

According to ESPN, Patricia Carroll, the woman's lead attorney, also plans to name the Tallahassee Police Department and perhaps even the university as defendants.

"I want heads to roll," Carroll told ESPN. "The family is proceeding, with civil action against the TPD and Jameis Winston. And possibly the university."

In December Florida State attorney Willie Meggs announced he would not be seeking criminal charges against Winston because he had reservations about being able to get a conviction.

A former FSU student, the woman claimed Winston attacked her an off-campus party on the night of Dec. 7, 2012. The woman contacted police within hours of the alleged incident, but the investigation was not turned over to prosecutors until November.

Winston lead attorney Tim Jansen insisted his client only had consensual sex with the woman.

"Absolutely you're going to see a civil suit," Carroll told ESPN. "You can not have law enforcement that is not held accountable."
