WWE Royal Rumble 2014 Return Rumors [VIDEO]: Chris Jericho Tweets He's Not Returning, Is 'Y2J' Lying Again? [PHOTO]

With the WWE looking for surprise entrants for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Jan. 26 live from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, one name that has come up frequently is "Y2J" Chris Jericho, but the professional wrestler turned rock star said on Twitter he had no plans of a WWE return anytime soon. His tweet still leaves many fans skeptical as he has fooled them into thinking he won't return in the past.

Jericho has emerged as one of the most popular names for a rumored return as he has recently wrapped up an overseas tour with his band Fozzy, leading to a lot of speculation that he may be returning during the 30-man over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble match with a chance to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XXX on April 6 in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome hanging in the balance.

Jericho took to Twitter to dispel any rumors that he was planning on a return to the squared circle and talked about his WWE future:

Jericho made a surprising return as the No.2 entrant in the Royal Rumble last year and ended up lasting 47 minutes in his return from a six-month hiatus, leading many to believe he may come back at this year's event as well since the WWE was looking for surprise entrants as they always do for the Royal Rumble match.

Jericho was on a short-term deal with the company due to his music and acting interests outside of the WWE, and was written off in July which was the last time he was seen in a WWE ring.

Jericho teased a WWE return on Twitter for the TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view after his Fozzy tore in Australia winded down just before the event was set to air in Houston.

"Goodbye #Fozztralia," Jericho tweeted, "See ya soon! Taking off for Houston...Hahah just kidding! (Or am I?)"

It turned out he was kidding, but the speculation around the Royal Rumble has emerged as Jericho is one of many rumored returns to the big event along with such names as Jake "The Snake' Roberts and Hulk Hogan.

It remains to be seen what surprises the WWE has in store for the Royal Rumble but with Jericho's knack for fooling his fans, most people won't believe his tweet that he has no plans to return.
