Reports indicate that the following was taped Thursday night for the final episode of SmackDown for 2013 that is set to air Friday, Dec. 27 from Corpus Christi, Texas as the WWE focuses on the continued fallout of the TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view and continues to focus on the buildup to the Royal Rumble.
In the main event of the evening, John Cena defeated Seth Rollins with The Shield and Mark Henry & Big E Langston at ringside. Cena opened the show with a promo and talked about it being the final SmackDown episode of 2013 before saying he wanted a rematch against Randy Orton.
The Shield attacked Cena until Langston and Henry came out to make the save. Kane then announced the main event featuring Cena against Rollins and made matches between Dean Ambrose and Langston as well as Henry and Roman Reigns.
Langston defeated Ambrose with Cena, Henry and the other members of The Shield at ringside and everyone was surrounding the ring once again when Roman Reigns defeated Mark Henry with a spear later on in the show.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton cut a promo and talked about being champion until Dolph Ziggler interrupted him and Kane then came up to make a match between the two. Orton won the match via an RKO and then beat up Ziggler after the match, knocking him out with one of his title belts.
Daniel Bryan was in action and defeated Damien Sandow. Following the match, The Wyatt Family came out and cut a promo as Bray Wyatt talked about being a God and told Bryan that he should join them. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper were in tag action earlier on the show, and defeated The Usos. Wyatt hit Sister Abigail on The Usos after the match.
Elsewhere on the program, Antonio Cesaro defeated Cody Rhodes while Darren Young and Titus O'Neil defeated Ryback and Curtis Axel in a tag team match.
This episode of WWE SmackDown is the final episode of 2013 and airs just over four weeks before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Jan. 26, but no matches have been made aside from the 30-man over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble match with a chance to take on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton at WrestleMania XXX up for grabs.
