Team USA is one man down during their training camp in Las Vegas in preparation for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant is reportedly grappling with a calf strain, according to Shams Charania and Joe Vardon of The Athletic.
While the injury is minor, Team USA is taking extreme precautions by excluding the two-time NBA Finals MVP from training camp.
Durant did not participate during team practices on Saturday and Sunday (July 6 and 7) following the players' arrival at the facility last Friday, July 5.
The national team will play five exhibition games before heading to Paris, with the first game against Team Canada on Wednesday, July 10, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Durant's status in this game is uncertain.

Kevin Durant's tricky history with calf strain
Calf strains are a tricky injury that could lead to more severe issues.
Durant notably tore his right Achilles tendon in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals after returning from a month-long layoff due to a calf strain.
The 2014 NBA Most Valuable Player missed the entire 2020-21 NBA season due to the serious injury.
