Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is in a unique position to make history.
The 28-year-old signal-caller can achieve a milestone never done in NFL history once rookie running back Frank Gore Jr. plays his first official snap.
Allen would be the first NFL quarterback to have played with both a father and a son duo.
Former NFL running back Frank Gore Sr. played with Allen during the latter's sophomore campaign with the Bills in the 2019 NFL season.
Meanwhile, the Bills signed Gore Jr. right after he went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft at the end of April.

Gore Sr., now a football personnel advisor for the San Francisco 49ers, expressed delight that his son landed in Buffalo.
"We're good. We're going to Buffalo man to do our thing. Tell them they better be ready. Trust me, I know what I'm raising. Folks slept on my son; they slept on me too. They'll see. My bloodline is for real," the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team member stated.
The 41-year-old five-time Pro Bowl selection also noted similarities in their pre-draft testing and highlighted his good relationship with the Bills' front office.
