DeMar DeRozan Appears on Kendrick Lamar's Concert With Russell Westbrook After Being Name-Dropped in Drake Feud

Kendrick Lamar's much-awaited "The Pop Out: Ken & Friends" concert and Juneteenth celebration featured several special guests, including two NBA stars.

Chicago Bulls shooting guard DeMar DeRozan and Los Angeles Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook attended the concert on Wednesday, June 19, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, the historic former home of the Los Angeles Lakers from 1967 to 1999.

The two future Hall of Famers, with a combined 15 All-Star appearances, went up on stage and shook hands with Lamar while he was performing "Not Like Us," one of Compton native's diss songs against Canadian musician Drake.

Both DeRozan and Westbrook were born and raised in Los Angeles. DeRozan played college basketball at USC, and Westbrook played at UCLA.

Lamar is coming off a highly publicized feud with Drake, and their back-and-forth exchange is considered one of the most monumental events in rap music history, given that the two are regarded as the two biggest rappers in the world.

DeMar DeRozan got involved in Drake-Kendrick Lamar beef

DeRozan got involved in the verbal exchange between the two, as Lamar mentioned him in "Not Like Us."

The 17-time Grammy Award winner rapped on the second verse of the song, "I'm glad DeRoz' came home, y'all didn't deserve him neither," referring to DeRozan's departure from the Toronto Raptors in 2018 when he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs for Kawhi Leonard.

Drake has been a long-time global ambassador for the Raptors since 2013.
