New York Knicks star Julius Randle appeared to discuss several topics on the broadcast of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers on Monday, May 27.
The 29-year-old was honest about the team's future, which he is enthusiastic about and proud of after their deep playoff run that captured the hearts of the passionate fanbase in New York.
"I'm excited man. It's my favorite season being a Knick. I was here when we were winning 15 games, we were coming scratching cold from the bottom. To see where at now, to understand the potential of the team and the opportunity, I'm excited. It just motivates me to head into the offseason and really get to work," the three-time NBA All-Star told the ESPN crew.
The former Kentucky player missed the Knicks' entire 2024 playoff run due to a right shoulder injury.

During the same interview, Randle also provided an optimistic update regarding his right shoulder injury.
"I spent 2.5 months rehabbing before, so when I came out of shoulder surgery I was recovering pretty fast; all my muscles around my shoulder are strong. So I've been healing up great. Been taking my time. Not in a rush. But I like where I'm at for sure," the two-time All-NBA member said.
The 6-foot-8 big man has two years left on his current Knicks contract, with the final year in 2025-26 being a player option worth $32.4 million.
