The 2024 WNBA season has finally tipped off.
Now only a couple days into the season, we have seen some of the biggest names in this year's draft get their first taste of regular-season WNBA action.
Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Cameron Brink, Aaliyah Edwards, and Rickea Jackson were some of the top NCAA Women's stars who headlined this past WNBA Draft.
Here are the three frontrunners predicted to come away as the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year.

Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever
It was expected that there would be a transition period for Caitlin Clark going from college to the pros. Tuesday night's opening game against the Connecticut Sun was a huge indicator of that.
The transcendent NCAA star made her debut for the Indiana Fever, but ultimately lost the game by 21 points.
Clark still managed to have a team-high 20 points on a very inefficient 5-15 shooting and turned the ball over an astounding 10 times, being rattled by a tough Connecticut defense.
Despite the loss, Caitlin Clark still displayed flashes of the same talent that we saw shake up the college basketball landscape.
Cameron Brink, Los Angeles Sparks

Fresh out of Stanford, the No.2 overall pick is already turning heads after a solid debut for the Los Angeles Sparks.
Brink logged 11 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds while knocking down one three and 2 blocks in the Sparks' 92-81 loss to the Atlanta Dream.
She made several highlight-reel-worthy plays, including a Jokic-esq pass to a teammate that resulted in an easy bucket at the rim.
Cameron Brink flashed a combination of defensive and offensive strengths, making her a force at Stanford.
Angel Reese, Chicago Sky

Despite the Chicago Sky's loss to the Dallas Wings, the former LSU star Angel Reese looked promising during her WNBA Debut.
The 6'3'' forward posted 12 points, 8 rebounds, and one assist in her first official WNBA game.
After a slow start to the game, Reese scored 7 of the Sky's 17 points in the fourth quarter. This effort was halted by Arike Ogunbowale who scored 14 of 25 points in the fourth to give the Wings the win.
Angel Reese picked up two early fouls in the game, so staying out of foul trouble may be something for her to work on.
Honorable Mentions
Aaliyah Edwards managed to put together six points on 2-of-4 shooting in 14 minutes along with two rebounds and one block for the Washington Mystics in an upset win against the New York Liberty.
Rickea Jackson put up seven points for the Sparks on 3-10 shooting. In the minutes Jackson played, she did showcase some scoring talent.
