Thunder Gets Major Title Prediction From Ex-NBA Champion

The Oklahoma City Thunder boast several of the league's most promising young players. Despite their lack of experience, they have already clinched the top seed in the highly competitive Western Conference this season.

ESPN analyst and former NBA player Kendrick Perkins shared his insights on "NBA Today" on ESPN regarding the team's championship prospects, highlighting their unity both on and off the court.

Having previously played for the Thunder alongside past stars Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden during the early 2010s, Perkins noted that the previous team lacked the same camaraderie, trust, and energy exhibited by the current roster.

Perkins also believes that success is on the horizon for the current team, led by NBA MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren.

"In the next three years, I guarantee you [the Thunder are] going to hang a banner and win a championship," the 39-year-old boldly claimed on the show.

One point that Perkins highlighted was the post-game interviews of the Thunder, particularly during the playoffs.

These interviews have gained attention for their unconventional style, where nearly the entire team gathers around the player being interviewed and engages in light-hearted banter.

The team's chemistry and deep bond are evident in these interactions.
