Not long ago, Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese pushed off each other.
Their physical battle down low even reached a point when one pulled the other's hair.
Now, they are teammates with the Chicago Sky after the team drafted Cardoso for their third overall pick and Reese for their seventh overall pick.
It is a small world, after all.

Cardoso is a two-time NCAA champion with South Carolina and won the 2024 NCAA Most Outstanding Player.
Meanwhile, Reese won the title that Cardoso and SC failed to grab last year. She was adjudged NCAA Most Outstanding Player in the same season.
Rivalry, a thing of the past now
What do these college stars think now that they are teammates?
They are just excited about the prospect of playing with each other.
"I think it's gonna be great," Cardoso told reporters after the draft program.
"She's a great player. I'm a great player. So it is great we play together. Nobody is going to get any rebounds on us."
Reese has a lengthier and more serious answer about playing with a former rival.
"I've known her since high school, and we battle," Reese said in a news conference.
"And now being teammates is going to be amazing. I actually talked to her earlier, was congratulating her. I know she just came off an amazing run, an amazing college career, so I'm looking forward to playing with her in practice. And then in games, just bouncing off each other. So I'm excited."
