Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams' future has been the subject of much speculation following two relatively down seasons in the desert.

However, on Sunday, April 14, during a youth football camp he hosted in the city, the former Fresno State standout made a clear statement about his future.

"If I wanted to be gone, I'd be gone by now. This is where I want to be," the 31-year-old wideout told reporters at the event.

Adams missed out on being a First Team All-Pro selection for the first time since 2020 and a Pro Bowl selection for the first time since 2017 due to the team's poor performances despite his presence.

The three-time First Team All-Pro had 103 catches for 1,144 yards and scored eight touchdowns, playing in all 17 regular season games for Las Vegas in 2023.

Davante Adams is under a lucrative contract with the Raiders

At the end of the 2021 season, Adams informed his former team, the Green Bay Packers, that he would not play under the franchise tag for the 2022 season after they applied the designation to him.

He was eventually traded to the Raiders, where he signed a massive five-year, $141.25 million contract, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL at the time of the signing.

The six-time Pro Bowl selection is expected to make $28.25 million in 2024, the second highest among wide receivers behind Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins.
