Warriors: Klay Thompson Has Resounding Message for Rockets Amid Taunts in Crucial Win

Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson sent a powerful message to the Houston Rockets following their commanding 133-110 road victory last Thursday, April 4 at the Toyota Center.

"I know there's been a lot of noise and a lot of trolling. Felt pretty sweet to come in here and get a win. A lot of great history in this building; always fun to do it in Houston," Thompson said after the game.

The victory essentially secured the final playoff spot for the Warriors over the Rockets. The Warriors have now won their last six games, marking their best winning streak of the season.

Thompson led the Warriors with 29 points, shooting 11-for-15 from the field (7-for-11 from three), with three rebounds and four assists.

To make it to the play-in tournament, Houston must either win all six remaining games while the Warriors lose five out of six or win five out of six while the Warriors lose all six.

Klay Thompson singles out one Rockets player for taunts

Thompson specifically roasted Rockets power forward Tari Eason, who previously taunted the Warriors on social media following an eleven-game winning streak that threatened the Dubs' hold on the 10th spot.

Eason is sidelined for the year due to a leg injury and was seen on the bench wearing a "Warriors, come out to play" T-shirt.

"Yeah, that's pretty lame, especially if you're not even playing. Like it's one thing if you're playing and you're out there competing and you back it up, but if you're just gonna be trolling from the sideline. Like, bro, what are we doing?," the five-time NBA All-Star said at the post-game press conference,
