Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort Makes Stunning Admission Regarding Fourth Overall Pick

Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort made a notable admission regarding the fourth overall pick owned by the team in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, scheduled for April 25-27, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan.

Ossenfort clarified that while he's not actively seeking to make a trade regarding the picks that they own, he remains open to the possibility if a favorable deal presents itself.

"We're always going to be listening. We'll always have the conversation. We may not get to a point where the deal makes sense, whether it's at No. 4 or anywhere we're picking, but we're always going to have the conversation," the Cardinals top brass said on Wednesday, March 20.

The Cardinals currently possess the fourth and 27th overall picks in the first round of this year's draft, with the latter acquired from the Houston Texans on a draft day trade last year.

The Cardinals need to address other areas of the team in the draft

Despite the draft being rich in talented quarterbacks such as Caleb Williams from USC, Drake Maye from UNC, and Jayden Williams from LSU, Kyler Murray remains the Cardinals' franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future.

Murray solidified his status as the team's main signal-caller by signing a five-year, $230 million deal before the 2022 NFL season.

The team has the option to target Marvin Harrison Jr. of Ohio State, the best wide receiver prospect in this draft class, to address their depth.
