Khloe Kardashian apparently has a weak spot for wounded athletes.
A day after reports that Kardashian filed for divorce from embattled NBA player Lamar Odom, radaronline.com reported that she has been getting close to Los Angeles Dodgers' sidelined star Matt Kemp.
Literally.
Ihatelupica.blogspot.com referred to the radaronline.com report but also talked about Kardashian following Kemp to a gym on Friday.
"Matt drove at a steady, slow pace, perhaps so Kardashian wouldn't be left behind at a stop light. Kardashian kept her eyes hidden behind large-frame sunglasses and just seemed to focus on the road ahead," ihatelupica.blogspot.com reported.
According to radaronline, rumors of the Kemp-Kardashian relationship mushroomed when Kemp posted a picture of the Kardashian's Christmas tree in Kris Jenner's home with the caption, "Best time of the year!! It's gonna b a Cali Christmas this year."
Kemp had a long-term relationship with Rihanna that ended in 2010, radarlonline.com reported.
Kardashian and Odom were married for four years, but the marriage began to unravel after reports surfaced about Odom's drug usage and relationships with other women.
Odom won the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award during the 2010-11 season with the Los Angeles Lakers, but his basketball career began to unravel when the Lakers traded him to the Dallas Mavericks the following season.
Kemp was the National League Most Valuable Player runner-up to now-disgraced Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers in 2011. Kemp has had two injury-plagued seasons in 2012 and 2013 with the Dodgers, causing speculation that the Dodgers may trade him during this offseason.
Radaronline.com reported that Kemp and Kardashian have been spotted together frequently the past couple of months. They were photographed together in the VIP section of a Drake concert in November, they were both seen at a John Legend concert on Dec. 1 and they were both at the Jay-Z concert on Dec. 9, a concert Odom also attended but went separately from Kardashian.
