The San Francisco Chiefs have entered the Top 5 of the list of NFL teams with the most Super Bowl wins.

Their victory over the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, February 11, earned them their fourth national title win, leveling them with the Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants at fifth place.

Teams above them are the Dallas Cowboys and the losing team, the Niners, with five, and the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers, who both have six for the No. 1 spot.

Super Bowl 58 was expected to be the biggest in years as it saw the match between the league's most successful teams in the last five years.

The more than 100 million viewers who saw the game and the half-time show were not disappointed.

That was one of the most tightly-contested matches in the history of the Super Bowl. The game left the audience with many records that will be etched in history.

These historical records involve the game and everything that comes with it outside of the gridiron.

Records set by Super Bowl 58 between the Chiefs and 49ers

1. Patrick Mahomes stats

The Chiefs superstar QB now owns the record for most career rushing yards with 139 in four Super Bowl appearances.

He set the record in the first half of the game when he recorded 33 yards. He finished the game with 66.

He jumped over another legendary QB, Joe Montana, who had 105. Third on the list is John Elway with 86 yards, while Dallas Cowboys legend Rodger Staubach is fourth with 83 yards.

2. Kicker record broken twice in Super Bowl 58

It was only in the second quarter when Niners placekicker Jake Moody broke a 30-year-old record in longest field goal.

He kicked the ball from 55 yards, the most in league history, to give his team a 3-0 lead during the start of the second quarter.

Moody's seat at the top was not warm yet when the Chiefs' Harrison Butker set a new one by the third quarter.

The Chiefs kicker also set the record for most field goals made in a single Super Bowl.

The rookie Moody, however, is alone at the top when it comes to hitting two field goals from more than 50 yards.

3. Sports betting record

Super Bowl 58 became the most wagered sports event, living up to what Las Vegas is known for.

"The continued transition to the legal market set the stage for a historic first Super Bowl in Las Vegas, and the record-breaking results we saw did not disappoint," said Anna Sainsbury, the chief executive officer and co-founder of GeoComply.

GeoComply said they saw a "massive spike in traffic" minutes before the kickoff, recording 15,000 transactions per second.

US Sportsbook FanDuel also shared that they receive-"$14 million bets on the Super Bowl with a total handle of $307 million." Both numbers are Super Bowl records for the firm.
