Seattle Seahawks 20 - Philadelphia Eagles 17
Trio of young talent on the Seattle Seahawks edge out the Philadelphia Eagles late in the fourth quarter stealing a win on NFL Monday Night Football.
First Half: Eagles Fly over Seahawks
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts kicked off the game early, gaining a 10-0 lead over the Seahawks about midway through the second quarter. As per usual the Eagles did not capitalize on this early two score lead. Seattle hung in there, eventually scoring a field goal to cut the lead to only a touchdown. The first half of this game flew by, then began the second half; where the game really started to rev up.
Second Half: Kenneth Walker III Leads the Charge
Seattle's second year running back Kenneth Walker III had missed the past couple weeks with an oblique injury as they dropped those two games with losses to both the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys. The Seahawks did their best to keep those games close, but they were evidently missing a major piece to head coach Pete Caroll's offense; a star running back. Walker demonstrated why he was a highly regarded potential candidate for last year's Offensive rookie of the Year award; Kenneth Walker III rushed for 86 yards, a 23-yard touchdown, and accumulated over 100 yards throughout the night.
Walker's touchdown run came about five minutes into the third quarter but was answered rather quickly as Jalen Hurts was "Brotherly Shoved" for his second rushing touchdown of the evening.

Fourth Quarter: DK Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Julian Love Take Over
Yes, that's right, one is not like the other, as it wasn't only Seattle's wide receivers catching passes in the fourth; but also Seahawks safety Julian Love. Midway through the fourth quarter Jalen Hurts got greedy on a deep pass targeting his speedy wideout Quez Watkins. Julian Love undercuts the under thrown ball and tallies his first pick of the night.
Later into the fourth, Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, who has been quiet throughout most of the game, came in with a few clutch catches. These plays put Seattle in prime position to snatch the game late. On the same drive DK makes a juggling first down catch, rookie wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba burns his defender, Eagles cornerback James Bradberry, and hauls in a 29-yard over the shoulder touchdown catch.
After the clutch drive by Seattle's offense, Jalen Hurts and the Eagles had one more shot with 28 seconds left to get into field goal range to potentially tie the game. SafetyJulian Love had other plans as he ballhawks Hurts' pass down the sideline, making a leaping interception inbounds ultimately sealing the game.
