WWE superstar Randy Orton is unquestionably one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all-time, boasting a decorated career spanning more than 20 years in the promotion.

Orton is a third-generation professional wrestler, with his grandfather Bob Orton, his father Bob Orton Jr., and his uncle Barry Orton, all having spent time in WWE as well.

A former Marine enlistee who received a bad conduct discharge, Orton joined WWE in 2000. Initially, he was assigned to the promotion's former developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW).

He became a notable member of the legendary OVW Class of 2002, also known as the OVW 4, alongside John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Batista.

Dubbed "The Viper," Orton holds the distinction of being the youngest world champion in WWE history. He achieved this feat by winning the World Heavyweight Championship at the age of 24 in 2004.

Earlier in his career, Orton earned the moniker "The Legend Killer" as part of a storyline where he started by showing disrespect and later physically attacking WWE Hall of Famers and wrestling veterans.

Orton secured his inaugural WWE Championship reign in 2007, and ever since, he has consistently maintained a main-event presence.

With an enduring career in the squared circle for more than two decades, many are asking: What is Randy Orton's net worth in 2023?

Randy Orton's Net Worth 2023: $15 million

The 43-year-old Orton is worth $15 million as 2023, according to various reputable sources such as Sportskeeda, First Sportz, Inside Sport and Sports Brief.

The 14-time world champion reportedly earns $4.5 million per year to wrestle in the WWE, which is the fifth-highest in the entire promotion this year, according to GiveMeSport.

Before signing his current contract in 2019, Orton used to earn an annual salary of $3 million.

Randy Orton's Wealth

Orton lost a significant amount of his wealth due to a divorce settlement with his first wife, Samantha Speno, whom he married in 2007 and divorced in 2013.

After their separation, Samantha received a 2013 Infiniti, some valuable jewelry, a bank account with $654,317, and her $99,000 engagement ring. Additionally, she gained sole custody of their daughter, for which Orton pays $4,500 per month in child support.

Since then, Orton has tied the knot with Kim Marie Kessler, whom he first met at a WWE event, and they have been married since 2015.

Orton signed a five-year contract to extend his tenure with the WWE in 2019, putting an end to speculation that he might consider a move to the rival promotion, All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

The pact, initially set to end in the fall of 2024, may be extended by a bit due to a possible clause. A back injury sidelined Orton for over a year, beginning in June 2022. His comeback occurred at the Survivor Series: WarGames pay-per-view in November 2023.

Given the extended 18-month absence due to injury, there is a possibility of an injury time added to Orton's existing contract to accommodate the time away from the ring.

This potential extension could imply that any potential departure or retirement for "The Legend Killer" might not occur until 2026.
